I did try my T66 and it didn't recognise anything was plugged in at all
I would like to get the P800 updated though so, like I said, I'll keep trying. it was nice to find such a good example and a surprise that it had such old firmware. but I guess not everyone jumps like us here at the first sign of new firmware!

I am not surprised that it didnt recognise the T66 as it doesnt support a data cable except for using the phone as a modem. You cant change the backgrounds or anything like that some of the phones like the T65 could.
