No, this was a really high-pitched whistling noise! I could hear it when I was trying to get to sleep in my room! lol

My K750i charger whistles as well, i just got it as well - i remember there was a recall with the T610 chargers a while ago, does anyone here reckon it is the same problem all over again?

Mine whistles aswell! It's only the charger though not the phone and I only noticed it when the phone was almost completely full. I don't think it's a big deal as the phone charges correctly

It's just a bit annoying depending on where you want to charge your phone (i.e. at night). Vodafone were quite happy to replace it FOC though.
Might be worth giving the company that sold it to you a ring. I keep my whistling one as a spare for work.

Why would the charger whistle though, is it trying to tell you the battery is fully charged or is it a fault?

So it's only some chargers? Can I just go the shop and ask for a new one then?

Returned my charger - aaccording to CPW chargers are not exchangable as they are not under warrenty only the phone is - but they exchanged my charger as an exception.
Does anyone know whether or not the charger is under warrenty or not?

The whole package is under warranty. If they send you a faulty one it is their responsibility to replace it. No questions asked!
