The W800 unit itself should actually be lower in cost than the K750 unit, if you subtract the HPM-70 and 512MB MS Pro Duo card.

Why does everyone suggest voiding your warrenty by changing the firmware and the case? If you dont mind paying extortionate prices if/when it needs a repair then that is upto you but most people would prefere to keep their warrenty intact in case something does go wrong.

that's why we mod our phones VERY CAREFULLY And we generally know how to restore it to factory if needs be (to claim on warranty).

It's true, phone modding isn't for everyone, but for those of us game, it has a big pay-off.

I liked the K750, but not the silver middle part. So I swapped the middle for the black middle part of a W810, which also gave me the and "walkman" down the side.

For a while I had the W810 back cover as well, but I eventually swapped it back for the K750 active lense cover.

Still, I love my all black K750! And yes the w810 chasis mod was just for looks, and it was tricky getting the cam switch working properly, so I nearly kicked myself. But now it's done I couldn't be happier.
