Anyway, I take it that you've already downloaded and installed .net by now but if you haven't, there won't be any problems at all downloading the file on one PC and installing it on another, the validation check is purely web based and is not included on any of microsofts' installers, even if it's the type of installer that runs as a download manager rather than a full installation package.
