Hi all! Just managed to upgrade my W900i's firmware last night. It solved the only complaint I have with the phone - that you cannot do multi-letter search in the phone book. Now I can - with firmware ver R5BC004.
Did the update with SE Update Service application on a PC.
It's quite deceiving that when you look at the product support page of the W900i, no update service link appears. People might think that no firmware update is available. What I did was use the update service app I downloaded from the M600i product support page.
Depending on how your phone is configured, you have to set it so that when USB connection with PC is established, the phone is still in 'Phone' mode and not 'File transfer' mode. In phone mode, you'll be able to perform the firmware upgrade.

I've just flashed to r4ca004 and the ota update says I have the latest?! Whats the debug menu all about? Dump Memory etc...
