see what's the minimum you can have, then add to that.

The MAIN must contain most of all that's needed and also must contain some kind of RESET image.

It would be v.cool if Firmware_Lt (Lite) was about.

i'm sceptical coz i know this cant be done an dont see any reason to get all excited about the possibility of a specialised firmware for sony ericsson phones...

If it could be done it would of bin done by now and loads would be doing it.... but as there isnt even 1 customised firmware doin the rounds what are the chances that its possible?

But I can't read any file, I see only a listing of directories
How to read files from that images?

let's say you want individual files from k750 firmware:

1) download k750 fs file, e.g. from http://www.pappfer.hu/ website
http://pappferk750.uw.hu/K750[....]8_CID36/K750_R1AA008_EMEA4.zip
and unpack it into folder with 'sefstool.exe' application

2) run command prompt and go to the folder, where 'sefstool.exe' is located

3) type (without quotes)
'sefstool.exe k750_r1aa008_emea4.st2 .'
the last dot could be replaced with any folder name, where you want the individual files from k750 filesystem to be placed
