American Wrestling is fake as fake can be..but having said that sometimes the pre-planned fight moves don't go to plan and they do get hurt for real and they have to continue on regardless..

Although the matches are pretty much planned, theres still a real physical element to it in which they do train for. I'm not exactly sure you can call WWE a sport, but its participants you can probably call athletic actors.

Would hate to meet a pissed off goldberg in a dark alley one night for instance and say what he does is fake

Guys.Cool down. The fights in the WWE are planned to the extent of their dialogues, their antics outside the ring & the results of the matches they play, but you CAN'T call that"fake as fake can be".There's no way u can fake blood, you can't learn how to fall off a 12 ft ladder(quoting JR),u have to do the stunts and kill yourself while keeping in the skin of your gimmick.Yes,there are specially invented manoeuvres which ensure they don't get hurt, but the rest is real. The stunts are for REAL. while i dont disagree with what most have said someone mentioned not been able to fake blood. i think you can as hollywoods been doing it for years, i saw a match the other night and if the person had really lost as much blood as was shown he would have collapsed.
its fake but very funny at the same time.
