Oh... so, I will be needing the connector adapter, right? How many types of connectors SE made since the Sony - Ericsson fusion? 2 (the old, and the Fast Port)?

yep it works perfectly on the K750, but you do need an old phone as a charge station. I use an old T100 whose keypad doesn't work. It still charges up and works perfect to charge the car.

There is also now a converter that allows old style accessories to be used on fast port - so one of those would be all you need to do away with the old phones altogether.

Couple of questions...:

1) How do you control it from K750 / W800? Does it 'gets' detected? What do you have in the phone's screen? With which keys? Etc...

2) Can you charge the car by plugin the phone's charger? (the old one)? I have a BT headset HBH-600 (or something like that), which somewhere said "you could charge it with one charger [the phone's one will fit it]", and the connector is square... is that the old connector?

Thanks.

yes but the charger is male connector as is the car so you can only charge the car off a phone not a charger itself.

I was wondering, if there is a headphone converter available or not..I remember seeing one on ebay ages ago but dunno how real was it...The headphone converter would plug into the k 700 or s 700 port and allow you to connect your external headphones to it...! Any clue...!

regards,

Div

mate did you even try what I suggested or do you expect everyone else to do the work for you? No one remembers every link they ever see. So I just did a search FOR YOU, using esato search I typed in "fastport converter", then third item in the list links to the thread that has the info you want.

So now, click "search" above, type in "fastport converter" and away you go.

Now that wasn't very hard was it

However if you want a converter that plugs new style accessories into the old style plug, that's not available as far as I know.
