pc:
good features, stronger market, better connectivity
mac:
nicer design, more advanced operating system, hosts certain programs better i.e. quark, inbuilt features, ipod connectivity.
basically, im saying either is better. for me, as a designer, i want a mac for quark and illustrator and stuff, but for some people connectivity is important and pcs are much more flexible! its like saying why have an apple when you can have an orange.
personal choice, but if apple is sweeter now, because of its new processors its better? id rather have a sweet apple than a bitter one

of course its about the design. design not only means how it looks, but the functionality, the use of space, how it fits in with your surroundings.

I agree on both parties here, normally I would buy someoting on spec not design, but in this debate apple wins both lol.
face it solid we both know pc's are crap only thing I use them for is listing things on ebay as it has a free program to do so (turbolister), but the achual mac versions are better you jsut have to pay, even new pc's/laptops look out of date pretty quick and they never look that good, they are also alot bulkier.
macs on the other hand are perfect - the best operting system in the world and their design is awsome, my 3 year old mac still has the wow factor, and its ligher faster and overal nicer design then my mums brand new laptop (model) which cost her 750 quid (my mac cost 320)
face the facts mac rock and pc's suck, windows was designed for those who dont have the balls to try something different lol
@ vanquish - you bought a mac yet if so what kind?

in my post i highlighted good things about both things! i didnt dis pcs or macs, but youre just dissing macs.
