thats odd as i have downloaded larger files than that in the past but i cannot download the monkey one

Yes. I've even saved them and uploaded things to my private screensavers on Esato to download. Still no good.

It depends on what kind of object you are trying to download.
Max image (screensaver = image) size for the T68i/ie is:
3000 bytes if image is included directly in the WML page
30000 bytes if downloaded via link
So even if you find a WAP gateway which let you download elements larger than 30kb, the phone will refuse to download it...
And remember that old WAP gateways has a 2720 byte limit.

Does that mean that if a file larger than 30000 bytes is transferred to a T68i via IR, BT, or data cable, it still wouldn't accept it? Or is it just a problem when downloading items over WAP?
