MyPhoneExplorer is the best backup tool around so far.

@jakontil is it possible to use phone secretary as an alternative to code memo? My reason for asking is whenever I upgrade my software - all my code memos are deleted (naturally)! A pain if there are a lot of numbers and codesa to put back in.

Is it possible to backup the Secretary files and just reinstall them on the new firmware/phone?

I got mine a week ago and here's what I woke up to:

1) The most important thing is to check your firmware and make sure its the latest. If its not, you are in for a rough time transferring files via USB cable.

2) I got a standard sudoku application, available on any site and

3) Themes, don't forget the themes. They have some wonderful animated ones here at esato. Ones I recommend (depends on taste) are
Christina, Jaguar, Matrix, Radar, Skull, Wippo and YinYang.

Cheers!

First things I load onto my phone are :

Opera Mini (the unwritten rule!)
http://www.getjar.com/products/3334/OperaMini
GetJar gives you a version with the .jar to put on your phone. You'll need to start the install using the .JAR, otherwise it won't work.

J2ME Calc (a proper RPN scientific calc on the mobile !)
http://midp-calc.sourceforge.net/Calc.html

MidpSSH (Telnet or SSH from anywhere!)
http://www.xk72.com/midpssh/

Readmaniac (really portable library)
www.deep-shadows.com/hax/ReadManiac.htm
This is a bugger on the W800 as there is no security certificate.
Use it only when one leaves the pda at home as the Security prompts will drive you mad !

Odysseus (checklist application)
