It does make for a very expensive and large phone. Imagine holding your laptop against your head to make a phone call.

I wouldn't use it as a phone unless accessing mobile internet. Mostly I just want it for the drool factor. Plus pocket pc IS NOT WINDOWS, no matter what anyone says. To me windows is Windows XP Professional (screw Home). So if I'm going to lug a pda around why not one of these?

So I guess ppl using win 98/me/2000 are just pretending to use a windows operating system?

Win95/98/2000 and XP are all Windows. They share the same interface. If microsoft had seen fit to use an atleast similar interface in the pocket pc then I'd call it Windows. As it is it's just a glorified pda menu system. There are many user interface functionalities of any full version of Windows that could have been included in the pocket pc. But that's just my view...sorry to have sounded one sided.

And I hate XP Home because it's a hobbled version of XP Pro, that's all. I have no probs with Windows 2000, and win9x is useable depending on what you want to do. Windows ME might as well rot in hell.
