Well, guys

What do you think? Is it a problem with the phone istelf, with the software (before updating the software I could charge up to 80%, now - after update - up to 91%) with the battery or with the charger?

well if you have checked on the charger or the battery and found nothing against it.. like its busted or wrecked...

then i might say that its the phone that has probs... if its still under warranty try for a replacement...

i think all ur batteries are jus getting worn. how long u hav them for? the longer u have the phone for and charge it. the weaker the battery gets.

I have it since 3 weeks only! It can't be a worn of the batery. Yesterday I tryed to charge it in the car - the same story - 91%, keep charging, but that's it.

Because my charger is for use in UK, next I'll will try with one for Europe.

I believe you safe your energy on this particular problem. I have this on my K750i as well. No matter how many hours you put your through the charging process, it will only give you 91% status. You'll never get a 'Fully Charged' message displayed.

I have tried charging the battery externally (using an external charger for 6 hrs), When inserted to my phone, it does show me a 100% status. From my daily usage, I feel that there is no or negligible difference between the two status. I don't think that firmware has anything to do with it, but merely, an inaccurate battery status indicator.

This is my second unit of K750i. The first unit doesn't have this problem though.

@leeyw,

thank you, your reply made me more quiet. Perhaps this small problem will encourage me to replace my W800i for W900i, let's say in several months But then the first think I'll look for will be the charging ablility

I think the problem is charger incompatibility. If the charger is designed for other country, maybe there is problem with AC.

I have the same problem with my w800i. The only difference is that sometimes it turns off by itself after I try making/receiving a call or sending an sms. Then when i try to turn it back on again it just turns off so i gotta keep trying and trying. Have brought it to the service centre 3 times already and the first time they just gave me a new phone but didn't replace the battery.

Im pretty sure its a battery problem but all they keep doing is replacing the software and they also applied a charging patch on it. And i still have the same annoying problem.

Oh yeah it doesnt charge fully also..

Its the phone. I tried a new battery and a new charger. It is totally the phone's fault. Unfortunately, in the states, they don't have handset exchanges, and you have to mail it in and be without one for about 3 weeks....horrible service as i see it
