> First IE 7 Beta 2 Bug Found
Bookmark topic
Yo hotheads, I'm not slagging Microsoft off, after all they're paying my rent...
I also have Avant installed on my machine, but out of the 3 browsers I prefer Firefox to IE and Avant - personal choice. I dont really care about any of the alledged security issues that any of these browsers may or may not have as I think its all over-rated. Sure, every browser has its flaws, for instance I cannot use Citrix with Firefox or logon to my Bank account with the new IE; My company OWE opens funny in Avant....
There is no such thing as a perfect and faultless browser. At least you have the option to choose one that suits your needs. I would rather say if you're afraid of security issues regarding any browser, stay away from dodgy sites.
PS. Firefox still rules.
If the memory leaks, but a bucket under the box or call a plumber.
Here's something to keep you awake at night

I use Firefox for two reasons; I think it's a good browser and I support Open Source.

that article had me in stitches
@Uncle Bob
M$ pays my rent too, we never see any Macs in the workshop
Getting back on topic though, I think we might be surprised with IE7 on Vista. M$ are not rushing this OS out as quickly as they have done with all of their others. Sure, there's going to be bugs but I don't think we're going to see the massive security flaws (MSBlast, Sasser etc.) that we did when XP was first released.
And as

users, we should be used to a few bugs in a new product

Should read:"I like freebies"
Do you pay Mozilla? Because that is the support that matters.
Back to topic.
Firefox is not bug free too...

And these are just the ones detected and corrected (many of them CRITICAL), God knows how many still exist ...
People just love to say "M$ has bugs all over it" but Open Source has them too.
Besides, it's BETA, you should read the big-text-about-license-agreement-that-i-never-bother-to-read-because-there-are-too-many-letters-and-i-don't-give-a-damn-about-what-they're-saying.
