has anyone used a K-Jam with a Mac? how well do they sync? never used windows mobile before, does it play nice with macs?

I have just ordered a MacBook Pro 1,83GHz etc. I'll get it on 15 march or sooner. I'll test my K-Jam (Qtek 9100 in Sweden) on it as soon as I get my hands on the laptop =)!
I will post here if I remember, if I don't then ask again after 15 march hehe. =)

are you not running a Mac now? if not, your life is about to change, for the better.

I'm running Windows XP Pro, Linux distro Slackware. I have tried about 15-20 OS platforms since 1986, but never used a Mac. But if Mac OS X is a lot better then Windows XP Pro is something I will ave to wait and see. =)
I'd rather use many systems then lock myself to one and say things like "Windows rules" or "Linux is the best".

I'm actually wondering what you will use on the MAC to sync as activsync is not compatible and I haven't heard of other products that will do the job.

Mind you, I'm not a MAC user so haven't looked too hard!

i dont know what active sync is but Macs have iSync built in, which usually updates frequently enough to keep up with the newer phone models as they are released. the longest i had to wait was about 2 months when i got my K750. im waiting now for my D600 to be recognized but i dont really like the phone so i dont really care.

Well I've been using Windows Mobile Pocket PC's and the K-Jam for a while now, and I can say, most of the freeware available for them are not worth wasting bandwidth downloading (with the exception of Skype and TCPMP, if I may add ). If you are going to be spending 35000+ rupees on a phone, a couple of hundred rupees won't make much of a difference for you, and having said that, they will make all the difference for you if you pay them to buy the right software. I can personally vouch for Windows Mobile 2005, to be the most powerful Smartphone OS available right now, I'm using it side-by-side with Palm and a S60 phone:

and I'll say, It has the most powerful features of them all.

And yes, you can use he BT headset to listen to music, from Windows Media Player. And No, it isn't superior to the XDA Atom (But it isn't inferior either), the XDA Atom has a better spec-sheet to show for itself, but the K-Jam has the qwerty keyboard, also, the TI Processor in the K-Jam gives almost the same processing power as a 400Mhz Intel XScale.

@rishi: Sorry for the delay here, I suggest you check out Handango and Pocket Gear. The club i-mate site also has a lot of good stuff.
