I have the same problem. I have uninstalled everything SE related, deleted the subdir in program files and rebooted and tried with both b and c versions to no avail. When I double click the Update Service Icon, nothing happens. Arrrrgggghhh...Sony Ericsson should be shot...Can anyone advise me on how to get my phone to do what it is supposed to? I tried the c version on my laptop (never had ANY SE softyware on it before) and it wouldn't run either.

I can't say where I saw it, but I've seen it somewhere in esato forum, that the latest version, UpdateService_Inst_2.2.13.7c works perfectly fine. Downloading the version, will let u know if it works for me.
