My wife just got one of these it came with orange covers fitted and whitish spare inside the box. I think I saw a link from SE shop that sold the replacement covers and you can design your own too using a jpeg or whatever picture file if you want.

CPW are releasing an exclusive sliver version of the W550i in sliver. It is just sliver style up covers it should be in store now or very soon

Basicaly its just a standard W550i with silver facia's which match the rest of the phone.
These silver facia's have been available for a long time.

I've seen it. I work at Carphone Warehouse (well, on Saturdays anyway, i work for an IT firm as an IT consultant during the week, but anyway...) its silver, and I can confirm that it is true, and not a rumour. It is available now in Carphone Warehouse.
Its also available in one stop phone shop. Do not be surprised to find most CPW-exclusives there - one stop phone shop is now owned by Carphone.

I don't think its the cover as much it seems to be the actual edge according to the pic here, not the dark outline around the screen.
