Cool think i will get a headset for my macbook and get my friends to register and install it, as there away at uni so i can keep in touch with them.

@ miss c - you don't need a headset, I achaully use the inbuilt mic on my powerbook most of the time, but on occasions I do use my headset.
the other thing is some uni's will block the use of messaging programs such as skype because they use up so much of the networks bandwidth

I know i don't need a headset as i can use the inbuilt microphone but if i want the call to be private i would need the headset also it would be to speak to them not while there at uni, when there at home etc etc.
Plus i have been thinking of using a bt headset out an about, so will kill two birds with one stone.
