You can download it for free, but you need to buy a 'flashing credit' for it online, with a credit/debit card. credits are like US$15.
You can use either davinci or totalmultiserver, but i used totalmultiserver to fix my w900i, so that's what the guide thing is written for. You need to buy credits for davinci too, but i've never really used it.

sometimes it'll fix itself if you can leave it on long enough, but it's not very likely.

Best bet: take it to SE, they will flash it, and, if you dont have a warranty, they will charge you for it.

i did take it to a authorised SE dealer and i haven't got it back. they said they have to replace the phones hardware is this a good idea if it is will they delte my original themes, games, app.
