Im totally astonished tht SE didnt decide to make their media backwards compatible...mind u Sony is famous for making its products backward compatible so users dun hv to throw their hardware away...the gr8est example wud be the PS2 wich plays PSone discs and the coming PS3 which will play both PS2 and PSone discs



A sony CD Walkman is not backwards compatible with a Cassette Walkman and a Sony MP3 Walkman is not backwards compatible with any of the first two.
The PS3 will emulate the PS2 games, and not all will be supported.
BR discs and HD-DVD discs look the same but are not compatible with each other.

What Sony have done is to provide adaptors to their memory sticks due to the smaller size.
Now, since both M2 and MSPD are FAT32 there should be no problems for you to use a M2 to MSPD adaptor for your K750.
Then you won't have to buy new media for your next SE phone...

I think SE provided the M2 to full MS adapter because if they had supplied an M2 to MSD adapter, peeps would complain they couldn't use a card reader. 99% of card readers for MS media are for the full sized MS.

Yes you can put an M2 card in an MSD adapter, then put the MSD into an MS adapter, but that would be too prone to corruption imho, and SE would not want the customer blaming their memory.

So from their point of view I understand SE not suppling a m2 to MSD adapter with the M2 stick. It is more sensible to provide a m2 to full size memory stick.

However, that said, I also don't see why they couldn't atleast make an M2 to MSD adpater available as an aftermakret product.

So it's good that atealst a thrid party has stepped up to the plate and provided one...
