This topic was commenced on the 8th of March, 2006. Firmware was released on the 8th or 9th of March, 2006. Now some background on firmware:
Even if you were a qualified programmer, it would take you at least three years minimum to write one by yourself. However, if 30 - 40 of the best programmers amalgamate, that firmware release could be reduced to a year.
SE has some of the best, qualified and exceptional programmers out there to write and test the firmwares within due time, subject to the quantity of experts / employees involved. We only started the recommendations two days before yesterday. Hence, it would not have been possible for them to implement the recommendations within a day time.
As I aforementioned, SE has this thread under surveillance after my email. If they do not wish to consider a recommendation is really their discretion, not ours. Nonetheless, I ask you, and everyone concerned, what harm is there in suggesting for one?

I think possibility of changing menu icons in Theme Manager would b a gr8 feature. I like that feature in Nokias A LOT!
