The sadest thing about this picture, besides having it totally knackered by the "copy right"- scribbelings all over the car (wich couls easily have been done in a totally different manner and still showing who took the picture), is that the camera on the P910, and all VGA cameras for that sake, is (I better put this in a diplomatic sounding way) that it is not very good.
It's good enough for MMS pictures and stuff like that but for capturing once in a life time experiences it doesn't quite meet the standards.
The car?
That is a cracker!!!
I've driven a few Rolls' in my life (none owned me, unfortunally), but never the latest versions, and I tell you guys; They are awsome!
Not only are they extremly comfortable, but the road holding on them are magnificant. I was doing through a left turning curbe once, at a fair speed, and way before the car started to let go I started sliding in the seat. I was, white knuckled, holding on to the steering wheel to avoid ending up in the passenger seat.
No, joke aside; Rolls' are a total breed of luxury. Everything between the registration plated are 100% passion.

I used to think the designs were nice until the Germans made them into tanks.

I was laughing so so much when I read your post, the exact same thing happened to me when I borrowed my chairmans RR for the weekend to impress a girlfriend, I did not look so cool half on her lap, sweating & hanging off the steering wheel either!
But the new RR's look like huge "Land Barge's" but I expect there is less plastic than was begining to creep into the 80's / early 90's models it was no suprise to me RR got sold.
They were begining to lose the plot, they did not have the finance to develope really exciting new cars and their quality was not as good as it could have been, I am sure the new ones are better quality
I am very lucky in having been priviledged to drive most of the big marques over the years, but one of the nicest cars I have ever driven (And belive me when the company first told me I was getting one I was very very pissed off, I had not seen one at that stage!)
The Volvo C70 T5 GT probably the best all round car I have ever driven very quick and very very comfortable, and what a spec, heated leather sports seats, really good equipment and instrumentation, great performance, good economy (supprising for such a heavy fast car) very good handling (TWR passive rear steer as standard!) very safe and great looks, the C70 was the only non supercar I have ever driven that attracted second looks from other drivers and passers by (they were still fairly uncommon when I got mine) the new model has a folding hard top I will be buying one!!!!!
