Heres a link to the tariff discussed:
http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/Dis[....]e_plan&ppid=903&pf=Flext+plans
You get £180 credit for £26.25 a month. This means that if you only make calls you get 900 anytime minutes or if you use texts only you can have 1800 texts. You can then mix whatever you want so you can have 600 texts and 600 minutes.

Yep, it's x-net.
Says so in the link. The 'credit' seems to be your 'reward' for taking out the 18 months-only option for the Flext tariffs. (ie. £180-worth of either calls, texts, etc for less than 30 quid a month!)

Unless I'm mistaken...?

My brothers on the tarrif and says its awesome, basically u pay your monthly line rental of £35 and instead of certain amounts of mins/txt, you get £180 worth to spend on calls or texts at a certain price, ur choice Meaning you can spend more on calls when you need to or vice versa.

Tmobile is great, apart from being the last to get the handsets and some network reception problems i find.

Also they are on 3G but only in London for the moment, they are apparently working on spreading coverage to the rest of the UK but will take time as always. Hope this helps

hadn't actually noticed these new tariffs from T-mobile until I saw this thread and I have to say i'm very impressed! If I didn't already have 3 contracts running I'd buy it especially at these cheaper introductory prices! They're also offering a wide range of phones free on these tariffs even on the cheapest of tariffs.

I was a loyal Orange customer until T came out with a great tariff for me 10 months ago.
I signed up for 18 month contracts because of what was offered at the time. After 9 months, i started to be over-charged for calls and line rental.
I called T and it was no problem. They sorted out my refunds within the day and offered me a free W800i as a way of saying sorry.
Fantastic! I cannot fault there customer services. Always helpful.....and always ( for me anyway) call me back when they say they will.
Because of my particular probs with over-charging, not only did they give me the W800i free ( still within contract) but they also gave me a special tariff of 200 x mins and 100 texts for £11.50 for the next 12 months!!!
Brilliant!! I,m gonna take out this new flex tariff.

I see most of the questions fielded have been answered but I'll quickly re-cap...

It does work similarly to O2's PAYG that gives you 100 "credits" to be used on text/voice as you chose.

You pay T-Mobile £26.25 p/m (if you buy from them direct) and they give you £180 credit each month and it's up to you whether you use it on text or voice or a combo of the 2.

And yes the theory is correct, you can effictively have 900 any time x/network minutes for only £26 and you get most phones free.

Glad I switched!

I do think that the Flext tariffs are great value. The only bit putting me off is the 18 month contract, I prefere 12 month contracts.

What you will realise that... all networks will get better deals on the 18month contracts rather then 12months..... I use to be the same I will never get a 18month contract and 2 months back got myself a 18month contract only reason why cause I got 750MINS & TX ANYTIME X-NET......

So it was worth while.....
Cheers
ENJOY
