creative solution etaab.
You can also resize the picture by sending it as an mms and saying yes when it prompts to resize. Then send the image to yourself and when you receive it open the message and save the image to the phone.
This method requires use of an mms credit, and resizes to 640x480 only.

Crop it on the phone using the save command (if you ever get it working) and then use that resize option.. ?

Go to pictures, view some picture and go "horizontal", zoom in and select save. Options: Small, Medium, Large, Actual picture
Small = 160x120
Medium = 640x480
Large = 1600x1200
Actual Picture = As seen on LCD
It works fine for me!
