I do the same thing, what if you dont have a digital camera to sell your stuff and need a better high def pic? No harm in that plus his got good feedback so cant see that as a problem.

Hotlinking is bandwidth theft, plain and simple.

EDIT:

Oh, of course if he's just copying it from somewhere else and hosting it on his own server that's not quite such a problem. He still runs into copyright issues however, because he's using someone else work without their express permission.
