Ive been with o2 approx 5yrs and yet im happy. I dislike how orange stick there logo everywhere on there phones and they dont ave 1471 unlike o2, o2 have a minium brand on there phones eg. Logo, wallpaper etc and they come unlocked u shud move over u lot orange r to slow lmao This message was posted from a WAP device

I must admit, miss uk is making a good arqument. I've got two payg and two contract phones with Orange all on one account but i've just ordered my new W810i via o2. If they are as good as they sound then i might move all my phones over to o2. Their pay monthly phones all come unlocked and with the minimum of branding (start up, shut down etc.) and i think this is the way forward.

Whilst I agree that Orange branding their phones with the same icons and interface is a bad idea, the O2 network has some major differences from Orange. My biggest gripe with O2 and Vodafone is that you get a text message to tell you that you have an voicemail rather than a little voicemail symbol - a text message that you have to read and delete. On Vodafone (not sure about O2) you can also select the option for the network to call you and tell you that you have a voicemail. If you couldn't answer the phone the first time round... Also, whilst you don't get 1471 on Orange, they do send you a text message for all people who have called and not left a message (which can be switched off).

I've been with Orange for 9 years and I have tried other networks over the years. Whilst I don't like what they are doing to their phones, they are a good network. However, I don't think they are very competetive so I am moving to T-Mobile as they have their Flext tariffs which will save me over £30 every month.

BTW, Orange are planning to start charging it's customers for delivery reports - 1p a time. Other networks are likely to follow with talk of charging the full cost of a text for each report.

i have followed Miss Uk and cancelled orange and ordered a w810 on o2 - say 2 -5 days and they getting stock tomorrow.... but who knows!

Just phoned Orange to ask about the W810. The guy said ''Your in luck, it's just become avalible in the last 15 minutes'' I was into my 15th month of my contract so I've upgraded for free plus I've got more minutes, Result!
It's being delivered tomorrow. Result!!!!

Just called orange to ask how much my pac code would be (3 months left on my contract), they immediately offered a W810i free upgrade, 500mins/500texts/15mms per month for £25 and free insurance for 12 months, I had to take that. Won't reduce my bills much as most of my calls are roaming (£173 bill last month). Seems that the W810i will be cheap!
