@ decoy7, how are you sending pictures for free on o2? I try to send email and it fails all the time, what settings are you using? thanks

i'm using similiar setup as Shibby, i've successfully sent pictures from an MCA-10 via the T68's email client, not wap email.

using Genie/o2 payasugo with unlimited free wap via the 915000 dial-up number.

i sent a pic using my Yahoo.co.uk account and also my ISP's POP3 email and it sent the photo with no problems, so far i havent used the MCA-20 where the size of the photo will be much higher in KB's hopefully...but i'm not sure how this will work whether the phone has to have the picture stored or if it can be sent direct from the camera...this would be interesting to know...ps Yahoo.co.uk account can be setup on your T68 without paying subscription to Yahoo, if you want more info on how to set it up let me know.

Hello All,

Could you tell me, those of you that are free texting and wapping, what package EXACTLY you have ?

I'm on voda but with wapping and texting the costs come in heavy each month - if there's a way to avoid that I'd be very happy !

I have used email client on T68/T68i extensively with MCA-20 and GPRS and it's great - only one problem the cost ! Voda are very expensive for GPRS, and it gets real dear when you consider the average send and receive on email is about 30 Kb ( that's including reading a few messages too ).

So, if I have to go back to pay as you go with o2 and wap dial-up, so be it - no probs if I am getting 00's of free texts and free WAP mins !

By the way, having tried MMS and Email, I much prefer the email solution as it's fast, efficient, and I'm not that concerned about seeing some sound and a slide show in my message !

Your info on the contract/pay as you go SIMs you have would be much appreciated

Thanks

once upon a time genie (02) was giving away payg sims cards to people that rang them, and at the time they was unlimited wap and unlimited text sims and all you have to do is to top up £10 a month and this £10 would go onto your calls after that then they offered 600 texts unlimited wap then there was 300 texts and unlimited wap and now they dont but keep looking in the papers as it is alway advertized in them all you need to do is ring them and have an email address
