When the update finishes successfully,take out the DCU 60,pull out the battery,insert again,turn on the phone. If it fails to turn on,don't worry,try again-wait again and it will do. Anyway I don't know whether there's the same R1BC002 F/W for branded phone..

My PC is Pentium 4;512MB RAM memory,of 100Mbps internet connection,though in reality only 20-40kbps..funny,right? it depends on the server..It just took 30 minutes to update completely-once it took even only 15 mins-dunno what happens to your connection..is that broadband? Mine isn't..well,calm down,mate..

Well its still downloading , I hav a 1500K ADSL Connection , from a good server download speed is 170kbps MAX. And i live in australia its about 1:21AM right now.Im gonna gt sleep n leave it on for hte night

You can always unplug the DCU60 anytime only during'downloading phone software' phase but not during 'updating phone software' phase. I guess the program doesn't work properly..why don't you restart the SEUS from beginning? Sorry,mate,that's all what I can help..here I even live in a small town where broadband is only a 'fantasy'-guess,I have been lucky having no troubles so far..cheers!

When I first updated my phone I came across that probelm aswell but this is what I did to fix it.
First of all you have to have all the required drivers installed, then follow the steps on the update service program, but when you first do this your phone has to install the "flash drivers" and with XP OS you should see the small yellow dialog on the taskbar saying detected flash drivers something like that.
The next step is repeat the same process.
1 Remove SIM
2 Hold down C, and insert the usb cable in and (WAIT)
3 important note: You must only release your finger of the C button when the software tells you to
4 Then let go and leave your phone alone and see your phone update..
The latest update so far for K750i is R1BC002 which fixes almost all the problems SE users have has so far with low noise, slow phone process..

Sorry to hear that,mate. The 'updating phone software' phase relates mainly to the harddisk of your PC. If it fails,it means your PC might have problems..So your K750 won't turn on anymore? All steps I did above were working nicely without problems..from R1N035..R1AA008..and now R1BC002. Are you sure your battery had been 100%full before updating? It might have been fatal..

Im going to take it into my Vodafone store in Blacktown in about an hour. What do i tell them? Do i just come clean and say 'i tryed to update it under certified SEUS , I called Sony Ericsson and they told me to take it to my Vodafone store" Or do i say somthing else?
P.S AUSTRALIA : Daylight savings is over , Please set your time 1 hour backwards.
