no hang for my w810i so far... but i looking forward for the new firmware because the current one doesnt support chinese language.

Let's be honest. The w810i has been out for less than THREE weeks, what are the chances of SE releasing an update SO soon??? Anyone with a minimun amount of intelligence can figure out that is gonna take several weeks -if not months- before

actually releases an update for such a new model on their SEUS.
IMHO this post was only created to show off.... "oh, I already have a w810 and I'm in trouble..."

well in my experience se releases firmware fixes depending on the severity of the problem and how many of the users are affected by it. fron couple weeks to up to 4 months.

also depends on the pressure from the users but mostly carriers. just look at the history of k750. phone released end of may and R1J002 - Released on SEUS 13/6/05.

judging by lack of major problems (agree restarting qualifies as severe but is not spread among majority of users, at least not reported) with w810 it seems that the next firmware might be a long wait.

Hi ive had the Sony Ericsson W810i on Vodafone for just over a day now.
Things were fine till i tried installing disc2phone on my pc and it wouldnt install.
Installed pc suite but cant connect my phone to itCan anyone offer suggestions,as ive tried microsoft,S/E, VODAFONE AND EVEN CURRIES?
