i currently have my eye on the N70/3250 as well. they're of decent size, and not as ugly as most other Nokia phones, so to me they're gonna be tolerable. i personally don't think that the W800 & W810 are ugly... i hate having a phone that makes me look as if any minute now i'll be getting a call from a business associate in japan. lol. the w810 works just well with my slacker-ish sense of style.

I didnt really like the N70. It just didnt live up to the expectations. Its good for the 1st week then just gets boring. Id say W800 is a all round good choice. The N70s metal scratches easily and is bulky and felt cheap to me. Not as solid as what it looks. Entirely up to you though mate

again, i think it looks ugly. its a matter of the w800 or n70 and i think the n70 is winning on not having a joystick and it just being different.
Ive just got a feeling that if i go for the w800 im going to be disappointed that its not that different to the k700.

The n70 is a good phone and there are a few ways to speed the operating system up a little, loads of apps/games ect out there for it.
What about a Nokia 6270? the sound and screen quality was great but i got bored yet again and sold it
Never liked the w800i myself due to the colouring of the housing and the camera lens cover kept opening when putting in my pocket.

personally I dont like the N70, the image quality is not that great... the slider for the lense is very large, I found in the office at work that the slider has become quite loose and creeks a lot. But then I am someone that converted from nokia to SE 3 years ago.
i have to say though as I get access to all the phones out at the moment, Nokia have yet to release a phone that will tempt me back over to them...
I'm looking forward to the P990i

Dont bother with the n70. I went from that to the w800 and have vowed never to go for Nokia again. Poor batery life so forget about using it as an mp3 player. Poor codecs you cant watch any of the viedos on this site on it. Plus theres loas of firmware bugs. 3UK have even dicontinued selling the n70 as th n71 is coming ou soon. The only good thing about the n70 is th video catpure in mp4 but it eats shit loads of memory up and you only get a 64mb card with it. Get the w810.

If you think the w800 is "ugly as sin", then why dont you consider the k750. Again not much difference from the k700 but it looks better.
