The k800 will win against the n80 purley beacsue the n80 has no autofocus. Its battery life is poor aswell considering it has wi fi.

nice! k800 wins all there camera wise, except...
"Even by only looking at the specs, you can already tell who is the winner here - Nokia N80. At its highest setting it can record at 352 x 288 pixels (CIF) resolution, while Sony Ericsson can only shoot video in the ancient QCIF format - 176 x 144 pixels. So, N80 captures 4 times more pixels and its video is definitely better. Take a look at the samples."
"Both phones can zoom while capturing video and both can record audio and the video recording time is limited by the free memory only. Sony Ericsson features digital video stabilization, but it's pretty redundant at such a small resolution. Anyway, both cameras will miserably fail when compared to the newly announced Nokia N93, which will feature recording DVD like quality video (640x480 at 30 fps)."
i found these pictures funny yet depressing at the same time:

God where do you all get this hatred for Nokia?
> its battery will have bad life IF ITS Wi Fi is in prolonged use & if the power consumption isnt FRUGAL as the recent SE phones (W800/K750/possible k800/790).
> so a phone is a phone not a possible wife your stuck with forever.

I love the look of the K790 and its feature set for my location of the world (Canada) BUT I dont want to spend Anymore $$ to my service provider like I have over the years, and since hotspots are very abundant in Toronto and free I would prefer it for IM/surfing/admin over SSL.
> I'm sure apps will show up for the N80 & I'm purchasing that. UNTIL the P990i shows up for a comparitive price in the next 2-3months.

N80 is a computer like any other ! It uses the symbian os (unlike 'any other'). Because is a computer one can program/reprogram just about anything on it. If you are older then 30 and loved computers you will recall the c64. It was dumb when out of the box - in the hand of a skillfull programmer it was a marvel. The N80 uses ROM/RAM just like the C64. Unlike the 64 one does not need to learn assembly language to 'play' with its brain. C++ will do ! Now, how will you like to have the buttons programmed from 9-1 (inverse to what they are showing) or having the flash light 'pump' at the beat of the played mp3 while in a dark room. Or how about reprogram the infrared frq and use it as a remonte.Live streaming of audio/video over wifi/3G/EDGE etc., etc. Yes there are phones with better this and that - but they only can do 'this or that'. I can ftp reprogram my Apache controled server from my old 7650 from anywhere, anytime. Try doing that from a brand new non smart cell ! :-)

The point is 'bout Picture quality
and for me the world is better without symbian os.
I had my hands on 6600, 6630, N70, 6681 but NONE of them could please me with their speed. Every time i wanted to do something i had to wait longer than i should. Now i don't feel like using other softwares out there (other than games of course) every moment i'm holding a symbian-os phone..and i don't wanna compromise speed for a feature i'm not using much.
And i don't know mario2002 r u a symbian programmer or not, but i used 2 be just b4 some months and i tell you what, it's not as easy to program a symbian os as u just written all those possibilities though i know many of 'em exists. may be many people will think I'm insane, but I just DON'T like Sysmbian os, it's a disaster from my point of view, sorry for that.
