@Coxy, 1st one "ugh!", 2nd one is no better than what I have. sorry

@kk.226, thanks for the suggestion but I don't trust holsters. I lost a startac due to one of those that was supplied with the startac. the phone had popped out and I didn't even notice. I vowed I would never use such a phone holder every again. Indeed I only use cases if the belt hook has a lip that hooks under the belt to make it more secure

that looks awfull man, infact all the cases I have seen look apauling. I must say I never understand the people who insist on using a belt case when they can just put the bloody thing in their pocket.

Masseur I honnestly don't think you of all people would be stupid enough to leave a 300 quid phone somewhere

I dont think it's stupid at all.
It's a great phone and I for one had to treat it like a gem.
At least with a case he'd actually be able to use it without worry.

Some silicon cases are quite nice.

after a few beers I wouldn't trust myself to be thinking about "where is my phone!"

I personally use the above (also bought from the above seller). I doesn't show the phone, but protects it very well. It was originally designed for the Nokia 6100, its a tight fit, but definately fits.

ok well I've been using the supplied pouch for a few days but have decided to get the one in my first post noe more time, and be very very careful when puttnig the phone in and out of the case so as not to break that strap across the top.

as a side note, the pouch makes a nice storage/carrying case actually and is definitly recommended for use if carrying the phone in your pocket

I dont recommend scuba personally (Body Glove cases) they are pretty cheap quality and always tear when i have one.

But it does look good, esp with the 8800 in there. Shame about the poor quality though.

my wife has been using a scuba for about a year now on her Samsung D500. Its much the same style with the same clear plastic bit across the top, which the slidy bit slides through, and hers is perfectly fine

anyway, I'll give it one last go as its about the only one I like. maybe since I last had one they have sorted that problem (he said hopefully!)
