Yep, Goldeneye was the best, it even was the best first-person-shooter on the old times. Remember when I played N64 a lot with goldeneye and my friends! LOL

I must say i am a huge bond fan and to be quite honest after the massive dissappointment that was Die Another Day, they will have to try really hard to make a worse bond film.
The good news is that the producers have scrapped the special effects and extravagant action scenes - thank god for that - and are resorting to more dark, gritty and reality based bond. So no more iceberg kitesurfing or invisible astin martins! We can look forward to breathtaking hand to hand combat scenes - a la Jason Bourne - and down to earth espionage chase scenes. Moreover they seem to at last have a serious plot that is more character driven so in general we can expect a serious story yet some fun action without resorting to over the top fantasy action pieces!

As for all the Daniel Craig doubters, i am sure you will change your mind come November. Daniel is great actor and from these early scenes he already fits the part. He may not have the charm and swagger of Pierce but he gives the character a much darker and lethal side which Brosnan never could have.

Roll on November 17th!

The Bond franchise has been down before, but I think that's to be expected with any long running series.

You can watch the New Trailer for Casino Royal HERE

and i still don't like Daniel Craig....If i was a betting man i'd say this will be his first and last Bond film....going the same route as George Lazenby.

Having said that the film still does look good!

i wanted to be the 1st to offer my remark on the Aston but bout 25 people beat me,

but....... WoooooW i love it!

I think Daniel Craqig will bring something different to the bond movies. he doesnt particualrly look like our stereotypical bond but im sure he will do a great job, cant wait!

Die Another Day was a atrocious, invisible Aston Martins and Ice palaces, sorta killed it for me....

But I've gotta say, I think Daniel Craig may not be such a bad choice. I really like him in Layer Cake, so I'm hoping it carries over.

I'm not sure Clive Owen would have been such a good choice, but he's amazing in Sin City....

The DBS is just gorgeous, cannot wait to own one, give it 40 or so years

Cheers

Although i enjoyed that film ...some of it was rather OTT with the things you mentioned.

Casino Royal looks more back to basics bond...they way its meant to be.

@axxxr

I agree, casino's, fast cars, but proper fights aswell, and by the looks of things, the're goingto be tough, rough fights, so he should prove he has some metal about him again...

Cheers
