Too bad it doesn't run the oragami software.

I've got a U750, and it too doesent run oragami. I guess the reason is that oragami requires XP Tablet. Sony only ships its stuff with XP Home. Also, XP Tablet takes a Full 256MB of Ram by itself, whereas XP Home can be run on machines with even 96MB of Ram (tried it myself ).

What? No 3g for internet connection on the move? Can it accept Vodafone Mobile ConnectCard? Or is it 3g via mobile phone BT/Wifi connection only?

@Glenny: I picked it (UX50) off dynamism, and got a trade in for my old U8G + $650 + Shipping. Seemed like a good deal. But I didn't get any of the extras which dynamism traditionally throws in. A new one would cost around $1600 + Shipping, but they throw in prettu much everything; free upgrade to XP Pro, Free Carry Case, External DVD +/- RW, the works. But not for my trade in.

Still, I couldn't ask for a better deal. Hope it comes in by tonight. Otherwise it'll have to be tommorrow.

Just arrived, Tore open the box etc . Love this little thing already.
Everything is in Japanese, got to run th recovery DVD with english selected as the language. .

Just some general pics, will post more tomm, now am off to play with this thing.

EDIT: These pics dont do this device any justice, its roughly the width of a CD Case and much shorter then it. Its tiny!!! I dont get how they managed to squeeze in a Intel Core Solo U1300, 512 MB RAM, 30 gig HDD, Bluetooth, Wifi etc, into such a tiny package.

This thing is a beauty! Debu you are one lucky person I'd love to get my hands on this device but it hasnt arrived in the UK yet..

I've been planning to buy a laptop for uni but I might just hold back for a while if this device does the job of a laptop... Gotta feel it in my hands to decide on that.
