Lol well... it does make the start up tones! However this won't happen in the state the phone is in. There is a little bit missing from the back, which i put in from my working 8800. (lol it's the power button)

Ok pics showing the inside:
This is the back of the phone, the one on the left is the faulty one, and the one on the right is off my 8800. As you can see the goldish part on the top is missing, this houses the power button.
This is the auctal inside, again the one on the left being the faulty one, and the one on the right my own 8800. As you can see there are no differences, everything seems in order and nothing is bent
