Ok people,
Originally I had GPRS working, and then I had phone problems which I lost the settings, now I have a new phone that works and after HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS of working on this, and searching I finally have the settings for your t68i.
Menu/Data Comm./Data Accounts
GPRS
Name: “Wireless Internet X”
APN: wap.cingular
User ID:
TCRESDC5RFDX@W3.MYCINGULAR.COM
Pass: ZJULDAGEN98810
Pass Req: off
Allow Calls: Automatic
Ip address: (EMPTY)
DNS Address: (EMPTY)
Advance Settings: Don’t touch these
Menu/WAP Services/Options/WAP Profiles
Name: GPRS
Homepage: MWW GPRS
(http://device.home)
Connect Using: Wireless Internet X
IP Address: 199.176.84.11
User ID: (EMPTY)
Password: (EMPTY)
Data Mode: Conn. Oriented
Security: Off
Show Pictures: On
Response Timer: 150 seconds
For the user ID for Data Account. My T68i only allows me to enter a fix number of characters, unfortunately this string is ONE character too long. I enter only enter up to
TCRESDC5RFDX@W3.MYCINGULAR.CO
Does anyone have this problem???

User with fixed character problem...I don't put that string into mine (I'm from the Bay Area, CA) and I put
WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM for userid and CINGULAR1 for pw on the GPRS account. Works fine. On the GSM side, I use
WAP@CINGULAR.COM for userid and CINGULAR1 for pw. Works fine. Give that a try. Good luck.

i also live in the bayarea, but this info does not work, it gives me an error that says gprs failed, wrong id or password. and the one you supplied does not work, and i do have the same problem as yourself, my characters are not long enough. but when i set up the account with cingular, why then did i recieve a login and pass from them, that i supplied them with?
hopefully my gprs will work soonly
