How long is the ipod remote? Does it come with shorter earphones? I dont want to be looking like the back of my stereo with wires hanging out everywhere

No that is what i wondered too, we need the fm radio remote for the video ipod as it is connected by dock connector and not the headjack like this one.

£35 direct from apple uk online store! They go for slightly less on ebay around £30-£32.
Little more than i would like to pay though for what it is, very nice though.
