In PowerMP3, under "tools" then "performance" you can increase the decoder thread priority to the highest setting. This will effectively put PowerMP3 above most other apps in regards to processing power. Then whatever else your p is doing it will not affect the playback.

Hi

Just having tried PowerMP3, it wont start playback automatically after I get a message. Havent tried it with a call yet, but this is making me uncomfortable. If I press the headset button, nothing happens. If I push it in for about 1 second, without letting it go, it will skip to the next song, and start it. I would like it to pause when the ringtone sounds up, and then resume when the ringtone finished.

Is this impossible?

Thanks

Ben

Hi,

that's how PowerMP3 works. Click on your handsfree button to skip to the next song. I had mentioned this in my very initial post above.

Okay, sorry, I guess we misunderstood eachother.

So back to my original Query then:

Is there an MP3 application, that resumes the song automatically after I hung up the phone, or the message tone stopped ringing?

Thanks

With the thread priority set at the highest setting, when i get a call or a text etc while listening to music, my p just beeps lightly without interrupting the tune at all.

Okay, I tested it further. You guys are right. PowerMP3 does work well, but it cannot handle RoadSync. I have RoadSync set up, and when I get an email with that, it will completely mute PowerMP3 for some reason. I tried calling myself, when the ringtone is off, the music starts right back. However with Roadsync, I get the email, the Message tone plays, and the music never comes back on. I guess this is something to do with Roadsync. Its quite massive in terms of usage or memory. When I get an email, I want to check it immediately, I cannot, because the phone is too slow to respond. I need to wait about 10 seconds for the phone to be able to actually control it.

Thanks anyways, love this PowerMP3 otherwise.

Cheers

Yes, matt69 is right. Setting at full performance, incoming messages (I only tried SMS) just beeps 'teet teet' and the music is not affected in anyways.

As for incoming voice calls, all P910i's MP3 players can resume automatically after the call, without the user's intervention.

Am afraid I cannot advice much on RoadSync cos I do not use it. Apologies.

Cheers

Hi

As for incoming calls, The builtin app did not resume for me, even after hanging up. When the call comes in, Music doesnt stop, just I hear a beep in the background, but when I answer it, the music stops, and no matter who hangs up, me or the caller, the music will not resume. I just tried it now again, and still same thing.

This is strange... in fact, since P800 the built in music player already auto pause and auto continue for all incoming and outgoing voice calls.

What firmware are you on for your P910i? Or could it be because of RoadSync that somehow conflicts with your music player and phone functions?
