yes it should be covered by sonyericsson and o2 should send it to have it repaired for you contact o2,btw it has a 12 months warrenty

You can take it to any carphone warehouse who will then send it off for you, they do repairs for SE. I think that everything will be wiped off the phone, so to be safe, backup!
