in the first firmware for the k-jam (I had one from the first batch from Expansys) it was tinny, but the first firmware upgrade fixed that and I have no complaints at all

Only bad thing i have heard is the call quality isn't that great, can any one confirm?
Thats a negative

, since i owned my k-jam for about 1 months the call quality is superb which i was surprised becoz the jam (magician) the previous sibling sounded tinny, but the k-jam is just as good as SE and Nokia i think.
You can get the k-jam for free on the t-mobile flext 35 price plan.

fed up of "waiting" for new phones, been out of contract 6 months already.
Maybe by the time i finish this new 12month contract the p990 might be out.

3G is one thing.. as they said, if it doesn't bother u, then KJam is somewhat perfect for a mobile phone/ppc.
one more thing.. I don't like the camera.. although it is 1.3MP like the htc-hurricane and htc-tornado, the picture quality is way poorer. esp. on low light.. there are a lot of noise.. (the speckle fix does the trick but it is still not comparable with the SP 1.3MP pic quality.
if 3G and camera is not a big concern for u... there's no reason for u not to buy the KJam...

I’ve been using the Kjam for a couple of weeks now and have found it an excellent device. As Masseur said before, great battery life, features and apps, and I have not had the problems with sound that the earlier release had.
I was a little hesitant to move away from SE P series as I have been using them since the launch of the P800 (better the devil you know etc.), but I have not had any regrets. It was a little strange getting to grips with a new device/OS, however the learning experience has been fun as well.

Also read on a few sites its a bit slow/hangs a lot is this true or is it just a case of removing all the un-needed crap they come with?

I've heard stories of the anti virus causing problems but I uninstalled that on the first day I had it.
I rarely, if ever in fact, get hangs and I definitly soft reset much much less than I used to on iPAQs etc
