i see axxxr 'online' now...hope he comes up with some intresting news(about dumping his plans to leave and also some mobile related news) now.

first of all, this thread is supposed to be discussing a possible new news editor. we've done the axxxr leacing threads
but hang on a sec, laffen did not ask him to leave, laffen and myself took the decision to disallow the
non mobile threads causing the most issues, upset and alienation of other members here and based on that, axxxr decided of his own accord to stop doing the news... end of story
they are the facts and we're not going to keep rehashing the axxxr leaving story so let just drop that right here, right now please

Imo we should try with well based and constructive opinions enlighten axxxr are, that sometimes the interest of the mass and this case of a site, is over the individual opinion and interest. When tons of posts cry for a member,he reached and fulfilled the highest respect and honour. Sorry to sound like a b**** but that happens when one person only is in charge of a section. Now, I see alot of forums working with a "back page news" section on the forum, it means that anybody can post a news and "news mods" are making the decission if it's worth the frontpage or not. Even if it's not really worth frontpage it stays on that particular forum so anybody can read it anyway.
That way anybody can participate in the news section of the site whitout having special rights.

you missed understood, i know why exactly why he left, because laffen or who ever have banned him from posting about religious and politics thats why i said thats a no no to THAT.
Back to the topic now, i guess it will be hard to find someone expeacially with 89891+ members
but i guess there might be someone that might able to do the job but he lives in the states and he has a really rare cat which he loves to bits.
