i know its for that but i don't really see the point in it, as it flashes on your screen telling you that you have low battery as well.

There's nothing wrong with leaving the phone charging 24x7...

In fact, I own the CDS-60 and put the phone there when I get home; then take it out in the morning...

well, for all the SE phones i had from T230 (which i still have) i just plug it in whenever i feel like charging it here and there, and whenever i have spare time, like taking a bath , or having dinner or while watching dinner and things like that... but i made sure, the phone went to the charger a tleast once in two days, and i can say that the batt in T230 is still going strong and hardly gives any troubles.....

i always empty my bat before charging it, they say turning off the phone while charging expands the life of the bat. mine charges fully at 2 hrs. & 20mins. try upgrading your software & see what happens...

well...erm...nope it won't be different...yes its 240 mains, but the charger will still output 4.5v to about 5.0v i can't remember what the different chargers do...especially k750 fastport :S my v600i classic port style charger is 4.9v but older /// 'travel charger' was 5.0v, and /// 'trickle charger' was 4.5v...so thats where i kinda got me figures from

I charge mine when the battery gets to a stage where it will not last for the whole of the next day. My thoughts about charging the battery are that it should be charged when it is nearly empty so that you minimise the number of times you charge the battery, thus increasing its life life. Look at it this way: if you charge the phone every day, that's 365 charges per year; charge it every 2 days and you are halving that number of charges per year, and so on. In reality, whether modern batteries are affected to a great extent is another matter, as is the fact that most people change their handsets on a yearly basis anyway.
