Goto howardforums.com for that info on the torch. LVwireless is selling both the laser and the torch 20 bucks for the laser and 15 for the torch. Look in the SE forum and look for the threads about them. There are 2 running now.

i think by backlight he means the phone's back light.
i'll tell you why not. because it's not very bright. these led's are EXTREMEMLY bright for their size, and are much better than the backlight. and the led might even work when the phone's turned off, correct me if i'm wrong.
