Indeed I bougt a load of these last Christmas as little figts for friends and my daughter has one hanging from her phone since then too, though they don't seem to last that long so she has replaced it 2 or 3 times

I guess i re-started the craze then! I've not seen any around in London, untill i got mine in a computer fair.

yeah, they don't seem to last too long unfortunately but perhaps its just the way she treats them
we got ours from boysstuff.com or iwantoneofthose.com or one of those similar sites (cant remember exactly right now)

I don't think so, as the glass container has a LIMITED space . . similar to that of a BONSAI I surmise

yeah, they are quite secure (from jangles etc)... from what i recall, it took a bit of effort to pull the base out...
