@p900 they work over network, OR there is a setting on a few of the newer models, where if for some reason u dont have service, or for whatever reason, u cna switch to another channel, and they work up to 6 miles off the network.

if you think they are popular in NY... go down south... everyone has them.

Almost expected that reply. One of the reasons i have read for it not showing up in norway, where im from, was that the providers can not agree on costs when a message have to pass from one to the other. This message was posted from a T610
