Just read the thread about SE FAR plugin. Some mates in Russia did experiments with replacement of camera driver taken from different firmwares on the same phone by use of this plugin. The best quality (summary on photo and video) is on R1AA008 firmware.

@Vicser ... man.. you are talking with a man who had SE D750i (K750i branded fot T-mobile-looks like an blue W800i) since they appear... and now.. for over 6 month K750i...

I saw FW from R1J002 to the latest...

And I played a lot with that phone.. I have pictures in rain, in cloudy days, in sunny days, indor, outdor, with flash, with only nightmode..you name it..

SO... in the first post i have put it 2 pictures... taken in the same conditions... with the same camera...

Before flashing with the latest i tryed for 2-3 hours R1AA08
And WE speak, for the people who cannot play with theyr camera drivers ONLY... I mean.. the hole s**t... whatever came with the pakage.

CAN YOU TELL ME that:
- Released on SEUS for the W800 around 2/12/05.
- Released on SEUS for the K750 around 9/12/05.
- Fixes MS Duo file transfer issues from the PC to the phone over the supplied USB cable.
- Rotating and zooming into pictures displays an egg timer whilst processing.
- Menu navigation (particularly when displaying thumbnail images) feels faster.
- External speaker sound level increased
- Headphone sound level increased (by approximately 1 bar)
- Reduction of noise when playing low volume MP3s
- Center Weighted Average metering used instead of standard Average metering to improve photos in lower level lighting conditions.
- Further Contrast / Gamma modifications have been made to the display to improve screen image quality.
- BUG: Increased background noise during phone calls when the volume level is set to a low level.
- BUG: Some users are reporting occasional "incorrect parameter" error messages when transferring files from the phone to the PC. For some users, moving the USB cable to another USB port seems to fix the issue.
- BUG: Minor theme issue. With some themes, e.g. Eternal, the highlight can disappear when you scroll up to the Sony Ericsson link in the Themes menu and select Info.
- JBenchmark 3D LQ: 201
- JBenchmark 3D HQ: 122
- JBenchmark 2: 330
- JBenchmark 1: 3814
- Software versions:
LCD 0
Camera 4.5 >> this things are good?

By the wat... do you know what "xcif" means?

the diffrence that they decresead shutter speed overall.. and now images are taken with ISO 100 instead of 800.

WHY do you post... ?
I will like to post here.. arguments pro or contra... not that one guy.. played with driver camera.. by the way... did you know that play'n with FAR pluggin can cost you total resoft? I mean if you customize your FS.. after master reset you'll have a brick instead of phone... i mean DEAD brick..

Post something real man.. something to help others to make an overall ideea...

I made this post because i read all the post regarding this firmware (also from other forums) and i cound't manage to have an ideea regarding this FW...

@govigov in xcif information is something changed regarding shutter speed, overall exposure.. metering is the same. ISO 100, exposure time is somhow decreased in R1CA... ~20 points.

And NO..I just open the cover and take the picture... (you can download the pictures and look yourself with adobe photosop)
