I can't imagine life without begamass, oops, megabass...........
that's a very major letdown in the K800 - real bad of SE to separate imaging phones from music fones

@kalleboo well yes, logically it's faster, the k800 processor is faster so it can handle the 3.2 mp pictures.
It's more than a "it's faster because it's faster". It takes a different approach - whereas the w800 populates the All Songs list one song at a time (you see the scroll bar getting shorter and shorter), the new phones (I admit most of my experience is with a z550, which has the same media player) have the whole list cached and it pops up instantly - with a 1 GB card full of songs even the fastest phone would not be this instant if they hadn't changed the method of loading.
One other difference I failed to mention earlier is that the new media player doesn't have the "currently playlist" type thing the w800 has. I.e. you can't use the up/down arrows to see what's next or jump around in the current mix of songs, you have go go back out to the main menu and work you way back into where you were (which admittedly is not too slow, as it remembers what artists/album you had recently selected, like the iPod)

well the thing is i used my m8s w800i and the song upload isnt as fast as my fone but the sound loudness is much higher. i even think infact that the k750i had a louder speeker then the k800i i must say all over that the k800i is a very good fone except from the bass boost which i miss gately

Does anyone know if it is able to search through songs on the K800i (or any of the walkman phones for that matter) by typing in the name of the track/artist/album/playlist in the same way that you would search through your contacts? It would seem logical for that feature to be in a phone, but it does not seem to be there.
