Just sold my W810 for a K800. Gotta say though it is great. Awesome feature is the light sensor to save battery! All in all apart from a lack on lens cover its a really great phone, just not enough of an upgrade for me after 4 K750s 2 W800s and 2 W900s, wanted something new.

I do love my W810 but there are pro's and cons of course:-

A few Pro's......
• Great MP3 player
• Excellent sound quality
• Battery life impressive
• Large memory (512MB) supplied with phone
• Easy to navigate menu options
• Plays many different media types

A few Cons......
• Phone feels really plasticy
• Very hard to text with (maybe I have abnormally large thumbs)
• Taking photo’s isn’t great as a lot of them blur when there is movement
• Edge instead of 3G

How does EDGE differ form 3G? Where and how is it available in the UK?

I think that the key features of it are:
- EDGE (perfect for those who live in a 3G-less land )
- Great MP3 Player
- One of the best cameraphones (2MP, autofocus, macro, powerfull photo light)
- Beautiful screen
- OTA firmware update (just like PSP)
- Awsome storage space included (512MB)
- Removable memory slot
- Sony Ericsson legacy (it's full of ultimate features but it's not a brick like those Nokias)

And the few negative points/bugs
- Blinking Photo Light bug
- No silent camera shutter
- Squeaky navi-button

Edge is an in between speed of GPRS and 3G and not all networks supprt it.

I am on Orange UK and they support Edge but i can't say about the rest?

I've updated to the latest firmware and there's no flashlight bug, the camera sound can now be silenced and all seems fine so far. no navi-pad squeaks so far. Did I mention how bright and love the screen is? The light sensor does work and it turns on and off the keypad lights and makes the screen brighter too. I love this phone! nice work SE!!!

@xan K: is that firmware SE official? does it debrand my phone? cos I like it branded... really.

I tried to update the phone through the OTA firmware update service at the phone and it says that my phone is updated.

I really used DaVinci only to change the region from EU1 to USA1. before doing I tried SEUS and I could flash it with the latest firmware, so it is SE's original. about debranding it, I don't know, I bought my phone unlocked.

You do not have to be rich to afford phones. I have friends at SE and I do work for them so I usually get them for free.
