No, it's BA -> Dallas (Fort Worth) -> American Airlines -> Cancun, and coming back it's American Airlines -> Miami -> BA -> Heathrow.
Cheapest they have it is £809.70 (incl. taxes). I don't actually think there are direct flights from London to Cancun. I'm going to a wedding, but £800 for the flight, and £150 a night for hotel + expenses, It's gonna' be a pretty pricey long weekend...

Not really sure, I would have thought it would get more expensive the longer I left it?!?!? One of my friends got a 'standby' ticket once (really cheap), but I don't really know anything about how it works...

it depends ive always found late minute bargains to be had, but they generally dont happen on scheduled flights...
might have to stick with the £504 jobby.

That's the equivalent of half a fish-finger every minute (not that I subsist on fish-fingers), or the Evening Standard (up to page 21 or 22 of 40 odd) every minute, or 75.03 ml of lager at my local per minute.
In fact, I might just tell the Bride and Groom that i'm "...really busy at the office...", and then just have an intravenous drip of 75.03ml of lager per minute for the next five days.
These flight prices are ridiculous...
