There is no japanese language pack, since it's not released in japan.
There is no arabic language pack, because it uses french in the arabic nations.

oh dear. i hope u are wrong... cos the previous versions of SE phones we have here do have the chinese language support, since more than 1/2 of asians are chinese anyway. and we dont live in china.
anyway i'm just hoping for the japanese language... but i know chances are slim. but it will be cool to have one... since no other non-japanese phones cna display japanese properly.
imho everywhere's getting more cosmopolitian, you get lots of people who can speak in lots of languages everywhere in the world already. no reason why the language pack cant be open to all region, since this is a business phone. lol

Do the language pack version numbers have to match the firmware version? I've just downloaded Spanish and see that it is R3B and I've still got R1A on my phone even after "updating" the firmware...

renjin,
" since no other non-japanese phones cna display japanese properly. "
Some Sharp mobiles can display correctly. i.e my Sharp 902 displays, but of course, the input is disabled. I also know the 903 displays Japanese too.
There is a way to use Japanese in emails etc, but it involves 'copying and pasting' from templates.
I wish too, for a phone with full Japanese input. The TyTn should do it.........

they should as these should be unicode phones... -_-
the language packs should be there for font/word support
stupid manufacturers when are they gonna learn
these should all be included in the cd that comes along with the phone so users can add the languages they want... the world is changing a lot of people speak/ use more than one language
